I think it would be neat to have a young boy thrown into the game. Maybe he admires Lightning from afar his whole life so when she is kicked out of Cocoon, he can't let her go by herself, so he tags along. I've always wanted a FF character to attack with their feet, so maybe he could have some sort of sharp flingy thing attachted to one of his feet?
