I'm a major in computer science, discrete maths, calculus, and I have programmed extensively in at least ten different programming languages. I use Linux and like to berate Windows at every chance I get.

That defines you as a geek. Nerds are something else.

No, that's a nerd, in my opinion. I think of geeks as nerds with social problems. They are the "pizza faces." The nerds who have lost touch with reality.

Unless I have them backwards, which I don't think I do.
