I dunno if it's still in the works, but around the time when Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children came out, SquareEnix was rumoured to be working on remaking FFVII itself, into the image of AC. In other words, instead of being a midget on the battlefield, you'd get to see Tifa in all her full-figured glory.
