Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations!

So, what are your hopes and fears for the English translation of the game?

It would be less entertaining if it was realistic.

Besides, Franzska is like her father. Whereas her father would use more subtle, or underhanded ways to win a case, she just cracks people with a whip to get her way. Continuity!

Yeah, I'm already looking forward to #4. I'm fairly sure I'll enjoy #3, but in most respects it's still a 3 year old GBA game. Regardless I will play it and love it.

Still on the first case, but there are a couple of more adult-targeted quotes from the game already. In the first case, (SPOILER)Phoenix is on trial. He's wearing a pink shirt that has a big 'P' on it. Stuff happens, and he starts bawling. Your assistant says "You've made your client cry..." And you snap back "Let him! That P on his shirt doesn't stand for Phoenix anyway!" Oh snap.

Later on in the same case, a girl is on the stand and she immediately wins over the judge and the prosecutor. You then think to yourself (in the game), "Well, at least we know whose milkshake brings all the boys to the yard."

I think I've already figured out this case though it's not done yet. However there are more elements being brought into the case, including some backstory on an entirely different case that doesn't have anything to do with this one. (Or does it?) In the past Ace Attorney games, you could sometimes see where the verdict was headed far in advance, but then something twists and either changes things completely or adds an entirely different level to the proceedings. When the characters get into 'Objection!' duels, it's really exciting.

Anyhow, I'm already sucked into this. I'll buy it again when it comes out in the US, but the Japanese version does have English Language on it.
