eyes on weddings

So two girls on my LJ friends have recently gotten married, one lj friend is getting married TOMORROW and another on later this year!

Also my BROTHER is getting hitched tomorrow as well (they were going to wait until october, but moved it up so his girl's mom could attend, but they'll have a halloween reception :O)

Is it just me or have a lot of people gotten married this year? There was that 'lol 07/07/07 is booked for weddings!' thing earlier last month etc etc.

Do you know of anyone tying the knot this year or who have already?

My cousin is getting married in October too. Last year it was his younger sister. Apart from that, I can't think of any.

My cousin is getting married. She's having her reception on a cruise next week. At least I'll be able to go to the second one for those who can't afford or aren't able to go on the cruise one. Apparently it's being broadcasted live by satellite somewhere. I'll have to ask her.

Agh, no kidding! It seems that <i>all</i> of my friends are tying the knot! It's so scary.

My roomie until recently got engaged and is getting married soon. Several of my friends are getting married, and one of my friends is getting ready to propose! Another friend was <i>going</i> to get married but then they broke it off. It's really so frightening, it's like... argh, am I this old already?

I don't have any close friends/relatives getting married. I wish I did though! I'm always going to stranger's weddings. It'd be really nice to attend some of people I actually know.

I don't think 2007 in general had any more or less weddings than any other year despite all the hype over 7/7/07.

...but there are two guys from work that will be marrying each other this year. I totally forgot about them. They're having their wedding at the beach.

The mother of one of my students got marries on 7/7/7 in Vegas, and my best friend got married on St. Patrick's Day this year.

That's all I know of though. I got married last year, as did another friend of mine. Sean (Cid) married his wife and another couple of my friends got married 2003. A couple of my friends are also getting married next year.

I'm just at that age where friends are getting married.
