Yazmat Lost the First Place

It seems that Yazmat lost his place of the boss in FF series(and spin-offs) with the highest HP. Jade Weapon of Before Crisis have 200.000.000 HP. lol

Can you guys imagine how long is the fight against it? And someone believe SE will create a boss with a higher HP than that?!

These boss battles don't even sound fun anymore, a fun battle isn't decided by a lot of HP.

Depends on the damage cap. If it's 9999, it'll be very long. 200 million divided by 9999 is 20003 hits. Time invested is 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 3600 seconds. Assuming you can do 9999 per second (not bloody likely), 20003/3600 is 5.556 hours. Account for preparation and healing periods, that is a six or seven hour battle. Eight if you suck or strike the unlucky bar on the in-game randomizer.

If the cap is 99999, then 2001 hits. Less than an hour.

The length will all depend on what the damage limit in Before Crisis was. There have been SE bosses with higher HP then Yiazmat in the past (Freya in S03 on 4D mode, for instance) but the damage limit has been higher and players could use more extensive combos so she took no where near as long. Yiazmat was long because the damage limit was only 9999.

I wish SE would make superbosses like in FF V again. High HP and levels didn't matter against Omega and Shinryu, strategy and the right abilities and equipment did. I never overleveled for Omega and Shinryu in V, and thus the Final Boss remained a challenge as well in V.

I didn't bother going after Yazmat in XII. The idea of 50 000 000 HP sounded ridiculous to me and I like my Final Boss battle to remain a little bit challenging, thank you SE.

If they're going to make a boss with ridiculously high HP like that, they are probably going to make ridiculously powerful moves, probably similar to Omnislash and Knights of the Round.

And from what I heard, KoTR have something to do with the story of Jade in BC. But I don't know if we can use them or if they are just mentioned in the story. Probably the first(because it would be almost impossible to win of the Weapon without KoTR).
