Dude, I haven't played in a LONG TIME. I was still training for the Elite Four and I gave up because there weren't any trainers worth battling to give me enough exp. I'm still lvl. 50-ish.

Menu->Bag->Key Items->Pal Pad->[Your Name]'s Code

Also, try grinding on the first few trainers of the Elite 4. They give good XP, and though you lose money when you lose, you retain the XP and can earn back the cash easy by fighting them again.

You should be able to eventually grind effectively with a traded pokemens and a monster around 40-50.
