Thread: Wireless Problem

    Default Wireless Problem

I have recently bought a laptop and wirelessly connected it with my normal computer. The internet worked for a while (1 hour ) and then just displayed the error page.

It seems that my service name (?) is incorrect or something of that sort. Any idea what that means, or how it could help solve this problem...?

Are you sure you are connecting to your wireless router? To make sure, check the settings of the router and see what the SSID name is. Make sure it matches with the one your laptop is connecting to.

Also, make sure to check to see if you have WEP or WPA on.

Sounds like a conflicting IP address error, can you give us some more details such as are you connecting via a router, what version of Windows and the exact (or as close to) error message on screen?
