War-Jet Li
I was so happy and surprised to see the new trailer for a Jet Li film. Apparently he wasn't supposed to be making anymore 'martial arts epics' but then I realised he must mean films based in Ancient China Like Once Upon a Time in China etc, so yeah Go Jet, one of my all time favourite martial artists, The film looks good but I don't know, I will have to wait and see it!
If I turn my back I'm defenceless, and to go blindly seems senseless.
Jet Li and Jason Statham. I'll see it for the fights alone, even if the Transporter 2 had terrible fights. The original showed Statham can do great fight scenes and Jet Li's Jet Li. Should be entertaining for that alone even if everything else sucks.

Jet Li's just not doing any more wuxia nonsense (as a fan of Bruce Lee I prefer to see no wirework and just plain good ol' fashioned martial arts), so we should expect to see lots of fun films.
I tend to find Jet Li's hollywood films to be lackluster though. I think in general hollywood martial arts films suck. Doesn't stop me from enjoying the eye candy though :D

Jet has quit making real martial arts films, stuff like you see in Fearless or his older films that require demanding fight scenes. He's in his mid forties now, and is satisfied enough with his accomplishments that he is retiring from that racket.
The fluff that hollywood asks him to do seems like it hardly taxes him at all. Personally though I'd like to see him retire altogether as hollywood really does not know how to handle the guy. Or maybe just work on his acting chops. He's a talented enough actor in mandarin that if he developed that talent a bit more he could make some easy cash as a dramatic actor.
Given the fact that I thought he was supposed to be retiring after Fearless, I was surprised at this news. I'm excited for the movie, although I still like Hero and Fearless the best of his work.

that's cause he's chinese. sometimes it's hard to determine their true age if you ask me. i used to work at the casino, and when i'd see IDs, i'd be shocked and amazed at some of the ages.

I like most Jason Statham flicks and Jet Li goes without saying. This easily looks like something i'm gonna see with a bunch of friends, or my dad.
Together they team up to make amends for an evil they unleashed years early when they starred in "The One"
