since ff4 is being remade onto the ds, do you think they'll do the same for 5 and 6?

Only time will tell.
If IV sells well, there will most definitely be V and VI remakes as well.
Go buy IV when it comes out.
Like people say, it depends on how FF4 does, but it wouldn't surprise me if they're already doing so. Still, I have FF's 1-6 in handheld format, and no amount of additional dialogue is going to justify buying 4 for me again.
There is no signature here. Move along.
I'll just wait until they're all remade for the DS, then buy a DS instead of a GBA.
Well, the DS plays GBA games, so the DS is the way to go in either situation.
The III remake was great (to me) and the one of IV looks real interesting too.
For V and VI though I'd rather see an all out remake like on PS3. No use going half ass on a hell of a game like this.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Like many others have said, I think SE will remake FFV and FFVI for DS if FFIV DS sells well enough. However, it will take a while, at least a few years or so, to reach European stores. Doesn't matter, though, since I don't have a DS anyway. :/

You should really get one, or you're missing a lot of fun (and Refia!). Yeah... I know, you can't just buy everything.
Hmm, I know it's kinda illegal but... DS emulators are really advancing. I know one that can play FF XII RW at a very acceptable speed, you just can't save (yet). =/
It's only a matter of time before FF III DS and the other DS Final Fantasy games become fully playable through emulation...
I'm sure SE will make remakes of V and VI.
The question is which system will they decide to support more...
So far there have been 2 games for each handheld.
