i stopped watching at episode 100. but i read the manga up to the beginning of naruto/saskae battle.

in case your wondering why i stopped these were fansub dvds of a buddy and that was the cut off.

i love the end music from the beginning, nice reggae feel.

I just watched the Cartoon Network marathon. I never had paid attention to it before but it is a great show!

So what / who is Orochimaru after all ? Is he even human ?

anyway, I've always wanted the anime dub to be called 'Bill the Ninja'. I mean, the dub is so utterly terrible they might as well have called it that.

Oorochimaru was one of the legendary sannin, but was obsessed over immortality so that he could learn all of the forbidden jitsu, as it would require several lifetimes to learn them all. So he learned a method of jumping from body to body via a method (SPOILER)that seem to be similar to the Mangekyo Sharingan, at least my interpretation of the manga seems to give that impression. Anyway, without giving too much spoilers, he [spoilers]joined the Akatsuki and then leaves them. I think he kept the membership ring[/spoilers] and is currently (SPOILER)either dead, but a portion absorbed by Kabuto, or is suppressed by Sasuke, but a portion absorbed by Kabuto, at least to my understanding (it's sort of vague what happened since it's not shown what happens to him when he tries to take over Sasuke's body.

well if you dont mind being spoiled then I can answer (SPOILER) no he is not human he is somesort of whitesnake (wich explains his obsesion with snakes). further he lost the mind battle with sasuke and he now is trapped within the little emo kid. thereby giving said emo kid, exalerated healing powers (kyuubi anyone) and some extra power.

its in the manga, and indeed that was todays episode, wich was pretty dam good, i might add.

but the story in the manga is about 3 or 4 arcs ahead of the anime,

um shall we count how many?

zo about three and a half arcs seeing as how this arc isnt completely done yet.

Rescue Gara ? My kids love him in spite of him almost killing Lee. They kind of think he was this way because no one was ever nice to him except the guy who tried to kill him.

I'd like to see Gara turning good
