So what did you think of the new characters created for this game

I just finished watching Dirge of Cerberus off of YouTube. Couldn't stand the gameplay (don't like shooters) so I lost interest in playing the game. But I saw that they had the cutscenes on Youtube so I watched that (probably didn't get a 100% of the story but I probably got a good 85-90% of it.

So anyways what did you think of the new characters they created specifically for this game. Did you think they were developed well enough to be interesting. Or do you think they were a bit on the underdeveloped side like some of the new characters on Advent Children were.

I thought Shelk was fairly interesting (though I had a difficult time figuring out what they did to her to cause her to be that way). And the dialougue they gave her at the end of the game made me throw up.

So what were your guys opinion on the new characters created for this game.

the new characters were brilliant ANd added real character to the game. im glad yuffie was in it too. some people dont pay much attention to dirge of cerberus, which irritates me as its fantastic!

i didn't like Shaula or Shelke or any of the new ones actually. this game already has enough characters, Shelke could have been made up by a fan in a story, thats what she reminds me off

the new characters are part of what makes dirge so great. i dont see why you dont like em. shelke i didnt really like simply because she was a bit miserable...ok with her life you cant blame her, but even still.

I think it is enough, except if SE make DoC more longer than 12 chapters. that way, another characters is needed.

Shalua and Shelke were brilliant characters.

I actually felt sorry for the older of the two when it came to the end of the game ...

same here, the fact that your unforgiven by your little sister kind of hit home for me a bit, since i have one, and i cant imagine the kind of greif that would cause. I didnt mind the new charicters, and i thought they did a good job at developing them considering the length of the game and the type it is (rpg's make it much easyer to get into te charicters thena shooter, i think...) i just wish shelke wasnt in a 18 in a 12 (?) year old's body. Just made me feel.. i dont know, weird, somtimes lol. The villains could have been further developed though.. Like Azule for example, they could maybe give an explination as to why he can turn into a big beasty thing, an experament similer to vincent's or what? (SPOILER)And, i HATE how they put Gackt in the secreat cutscene as genises.. just, no.. You'd think that was how they got him to put his songs in or somthing.. bribe him with a role as a ff7 charicter

I liked the new characters. I think Squee did a good job making a shooter.
Yes generic but fun none-the-less.
I didn't really like Shelk like a few others.
