Stock Barret's Missing Score with a load of Mastered Summon materia equip Master Double Cut and then just keep miming. Use the item duplication trick to get some more Megalixirs. Equip Ribbons to avoid any possible statuses. Super Nova cannot kill you. Atleast not in my experience

If you happen to get KOTR, have a character pair it up with Sneak Attack and if you're lucky you might hit Sephy with KOTR before the battle starts. That makes things easier. Then, just hack away with limits. I recommend Omnislash, Catastrophe and Highwind.

Dude, if you're too lazy to do that stuff then maybe you don't deserve to beat SS. Getting a Gold Chocobo isn't exactly hard, it just takes a little bit of time, effort and luck. If you want to beat Sephy easily, you're gonna have to put a few more hours into the game. No pain, no gain. If you really want to be rude, GTFO and find a guide yourself.

This is an awful attitude TE was trying to help, and you shot him down because you're too lazy. Firo pointed that out, and you wanted to go Ape at him to. Some side quests are always necessary to be done in order for you to be able to beat the toughest enemies. Don't ask us to solve your problems and yell at us if you don't like what we tell you.

Try beating FFVI without doing a few side quests Kefka will crush you, if you can even reach him. If you have problems beating a Final Boss, Side quests are usually your best choice. Firo was just sticking up for Twilight.

I agree with you completely. But Sub Zero said Sephy was wiping the floor with him, so maybe doing some sidequests to make his party stronger was the way to go. He was rude and way out of line. Neither Twilight Edge nor anybody else on this forum is obligated to help him, but they did out of the goodness of their hearts and got rudely dismissed without a word of thanks. And I'm not being rude. All I'm doing is giving him a stern talking-to that he is clearly in dire need of.

The thing is if you don't want to do the sidequests then you're obviously not enjoying the game so theres not much point.

And you might not need to do sidequests yeah but leveling you're characters is necessery and there is plenty of good leveling spots.

im happy to go leveling but tell me has anyone EVER leveled up on the chocbo side quest other than by shear dumb luck. mastering materia i dont mind but doing something that costs a lot take ages and give you something that might beat a boss well no real point (i have beaten kefka on ff6 without sidequests.)
