Boss rushes are pretty standard features. It would depend if there were any new bosses in there.
Well, in the 100th level of Trial Mode, you get to fight all 5 Judges if you want to consider that new. You couldn't fight 2 of them in the main story IIRC.

Strong Mode is new game+, where you start off at Level 90, however you must get all licenses, weapons, etc. again. Weak mode, you don't get any experience AT ALL.
