    The act of peeing out kidney stones seems pale in comparison.

    I've been in the situation, more than once when I've had to seriously think about this. Fortunately, they all turned out to be false alarms.

    I am in no position to care for a child. I don't want any anyway, even if I did have the money and suitable housing, and the person who is kind of my boyfriend (err... my ex) doesn't want kids either. We're pretty sensible with the contraception thing, especially as we're not properly back together, but sometimes we forget. I had a bit of a scare last month, in fact.

    Hard as it may be, I'd plead inability to cope and get an abortion on the NHS. I wouldn't tell anyone, either, least of all my parents. My dad would be so pissed off, especially if he found out I was seeing this person again!

    Why do I always have to be the serious one here?
