Crushed or Sliced?
Would you have preferred Rosa to be cut up by the scythe or crushed by the huge ball in the Tower of Zot? You can only choose between those two (unless there's a new way Golbez tries to kill her in the DS Version which I know most of you are going to make up).
I'd prefer her to be crushed by the huge ball. It'd be less harder on Cecil that way.
Being cut up is probably more efficient and easier on Golbez. I mean, let's face it, a metal blade is easier to clean than a huge ball.

Crushed is a heck of a lot nastier, making it ironic that they replaced the axe with the ball.
My pitch for ideal DS death is cleavage pipebomb.

I prefer the original. I'm not a big fan of what they did to the game in the SNES version. When I first played it, however, I was not aware the game was any different than its Japanese counterpart. It wasn't until I bought Final Fantasy Chronicles that I realized how much better it would have been had they left it the same.
Final Fantasy IV was way too hard for Americans and the story was too explicit for Americans. At least in the opinion of those who decided to change it.
So yeah. My answer is sliced.
Crushed.
I vote for the made-up option: barbecued.
