So I was talking to the wonderous Vikeve and I came upon a conclusion. Most girls like to flirt. Me, I love to flirt and if I get a response to it It makes me feel, I guess wanted and that boosts my ego.

I'm weird about stuff like that xD I know I flirt with a ton of people online as a joke, and some people offline too. When I was in high school and I really liked my ex, I remember joke-flirting with everyone around him <i>except</i> for him because I was too shy to flirt with him. xD Eventually after we got together, he told me he thought I didn't like him because of that.

Flirting isn't really the word for it. I guess for me it would be more like "being abnormally nice to girls." I basically try to talk to them a little and offer them stuff whenever they need it. It doesn't ever work though.

About it affecting your personality, I guess that would depend on the extent of it. Of course, I don't think it would be good for someone who's already in a relationship to flirt with anyone other than who they're in the relationship with.

I knew a guy who insisted he could get any girl he wants. He was dating this really beautiful girl at the time and said that he occasionally flirts with other girls in front her to "keep her in line." Wow, <i>asshole</i>. :rolleyes2

Yeah, flirting is pretty much one of the last things I'd do thanks to my sort of personality. Going openly out with girls on a whim just isn't the way I want to go about it.

I've been told I flirt frequently. It's not something of which I'm particularly conscious, though. Also, I've only ever flirted with people I already know well. Flirting with random girls is just awkward, as far as I'm concerned. I have a difficult enough time just going up and talking to someone if I don't already know them through whatever circumstances.

I used to flirt ceaselessly online, though, specifically on Final Fantasy XI. Actually, flirting might be too mild for the type of sexual innuendos and other blatantly obscene comments I would make. Everyone involved knew I wasn't serious about it (I hope), so nobody was ever really offended. Apparently it made some of the other people in the group uncomfortable, however, so they went to the leader about it and all of a sudden all conversations had to be PG-rated. Pansies should have just told me that the comments made them uncomfortable and I would not have made such comments in their presence. As you may have guessed, I'm still a mite bitter about it.

I can't help it sometimes, you run into an attractive person, and you just can't help it. xD Or if it's even with someone with a similar personality or interests like my own, I do it, and I don't realize it sometimes, like a second nature.

But if I have a boyfriend, I'm faithful. I won't do it at all. It's like if my friends talk about how cute a guy is and all that, I'm just like, "Yeah he's alright." And I go on thinking about the boy I have!
