I'm trying to complete the Bestiary, and I'm having difficulties locating Oilrings. I know they're somewhere in the Shrine of Miriam, but I can't seem to find them. Can anybody offer any pointers?

I'm trying to complete the Bestiary, and I'm having difficulties locating Oilrings. I know they're somewhere in the Shrine of Miriam, but I can't seem to find them. Can anybody offer any pointers?

There's a secret passage with several flights of stairs to the west of a wall in the Ward of the Sword-King just before you meet up with Darkmare (not indicated on the map). You should be able to find many Oilings there and maybe a Rare Game monster called Matriarch Bomb in the zone after it where the chest containing a Dark Matter/Shell Shield lies. But before venturing into that place, you should have Float equipped, otherwise you'll get a nasty surprise down there.
