From the look of the characters' stats, he only played with three and left the other three unused. You can beat the game easily enough with a level 50+ primary party. It's for the subquests where having higher levels really comes in handy.

Nothing too bad to be distracted by FF VIII, which is great. How good is Star Wars: KotOR 2?

I've decided that I'll get a PS3 before the XBOX360, cause Final Fantasy is much more significant in my eyes than most other RPGs. The others can wait.
I also would of got Crisis Core, but my PSP is broken, so I might end up having to get a new to play that game if it's really good, plus I want Dissdia and the other FF's coming through on the handheld console.

You don't need a European release...The DS is region free so you can order it when it's out in the U.S.
It will probably cost you much less than buying it from a UK retailer.
