Old news. I think someone said he didn't say he was going to play Snake exactly. He was cited saying, "I'm playing the coolest video game character with a mullet" or something of that extent. So yeah, it's a possibility he might not be playing him, so I'll just leave it all to speculation until there's more proof.
Apparent status of the movie.
Christian Bale will not fail us, this I know.
I hope they make a game based on this movie, I bet it would rock.
