    Default Tips on Buying A Guitar

    Hey, I've just decided to move off of my incredibly crappy First Act guitar and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on looking for a new guitar. I know placement of knobs, string height above fretboard, and warpage are all things to look out for, but do you have any other suggestions in what I should look for?

    It's just a matter of preference I suppose. I'm in love with the Gibson SG style, but I can't afford one.
