I just saw an advert of the game on television, and just wondering what opinions you guys have on it, and if anyone here has played/own it?

EOFF needs a resurgence to it's former glory.
I'm gonna buy it when it comes out where I live. I heard it's better than God of War. It better be...
Um... I think I might pick it up today. I am defienatley getting it sometime, but I don't think I feel like spending money today
It got a lower score then I expected.
There's some cool videos of it on Youtube
It was the first game I saw for the PS3 that made me want one, way back at E3 2005. Of course, it doesn't look as good now as it did then, since all the videos that were supposed to represent how the games would really look were ridiculously better than what we're actually getting. The fact that it's just a pretty good 6 hour adventure game is a bummer. Both Lair and Heavenly Sword have failed to be the expected killer titles people were hoping for.
The demo didn't especially impress me with anything, but it looked fun. It'd be worth a $5 rental, but definitely not a $60 purchase.
It sounds like another Genji, considering how short it is, and I've always been a fan of simultaneous use of characters, not being limited to 1-2 of them.

The reviews so far are pretty decent. Heavenly Sword Reviews
I might rent it to see if it's worth buying given the length. I wouldn't say it's failed to live up to the promise of being a great title. It sounds like it's really good, just short, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I'm usually more lenient towards great games, not mediocre, and a few hours of gameplay really doesn't seem satisfying enough.

Play again once you finish :3?
All signs point to "Too darn short". Beyond that though, it seems to be pretty good - a solid, enjoyable game with a major flaw, not the absolute debacle that Lair is.
When I get a PS3, I'll see about a copy of this sometime, I'm sure.
If you like the tv commercial where the lady kills off tons of opponents, watch the main trailer for Lost Odyssey, an upcoming traditional Japanese console rpg by Mistwalker coming in February 2008 to Usa, and which will be similar to the Final Fantasy games.
