Typically only when I'm in a cottage or fishing situation. Especially fishing.

Or swimming. You can't believe how hard it is to swim with shoes on.

I wear socks 90% of the time apart from in the summer it's generally too cold for bare feet in england and I'd never leave the house without shoes on.

My shoes stay on for as long as I don't need to take them off; sometimes they do not come off until right before going to bed (or a bath).

it kinda is, in most businesses "no shoes no shirt no service"

actually i kinda want to look up and make sure it isn't illegal to go around barefoot in university campuses in arkansas
