Default Lost one Odyssey? S'okay, have three more.

Who says you need Blu-ray for an epic RPG? Apparently Mistwalker has decided to cram as much as possible into Lost Odyssey, meaning it's going to end up being 4 DVDs. That's almost equivalent to a dual-layer Blu-ray disc. At least it's going to have lots of gorgeous CG and both Japanese and English vocal tracks. Still, I think it's pretty funny that games like Oblivion can fit onto a single DVD, but Mistwalker must really be fond of their high-res FMVs, because 40+ gigs is a hell of a lot for one game.

    Wow.

If nothing else, the look of this game will be worth the wait.

From the first Final Fantasy this guy has been about going above and beyond the technical specifications of his competitors. Using more than 1 DVD just seemed...excessive to me, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Watched the recent gameplay video. It looks unbelievably underwhelming.

"Changing disks every 15 hours, WHAT A PAIN!" or something like that.

The gameplay trailer looked terrible, it should of been active system, not turn based.
EOFF needs a resurgence to it's former glory.

Blue Dragon was 3 discs. Lost Odyssey raises the bar.

I saw the footage from TGS, this is great! I think Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey aim for different audience. BD I didn't like much but LO is for me!!

The big traditional Japanese console rpg's that are for console(not handheld/pc) next spring are: Lost Odyssey, The Last Remnant, and White Knight Story.

Next fall, everybody will fall to the power of Final Fantasy XIII! >: -D

    ...

    >: -A
Recently beaten: Alundra 1, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Currently playing: Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, Final Fantasy I
Will play next: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mass Effect, Fallout 3(???)
