I don't think there's enough story left to be told in Braska's pilgrimage, what with the Jecht Spheres an' all. That game would be pure gameplay as we already know the story, and I doubt that could be done all that well...
If they'll do a prequel, it should probably be something we're only prehipherably aware of, gives a lot more room for story development.
