My favourite villain from FFV certainly. I found the boss battles against him to be among the most fun in the game and you really can't argue with the music. He had the right balance of silliness and seriousness to make him a really effective and likeable character.

GBA version, battle with Gilgamesh in Exdeath's castle. But he had a whole load of lines in the GBA version that just crack you up.Haha! I don't remember that line from FFV. Is it something said in the GBA version, and where is it said?
That could just quite possibly top Nuumamonjaa. Yes, indeed, I think it would.
He's always been one of my favorite final fantasy characters (definitly in final fantasy 8) and will be for a long time. Square enix should bring him back in a future final fantasy game or at least put him in that final fantasy fighting game for the psp (I dont remember the name of it).
Someone get to work on a Gilgamesh/Ultros Odd Couple-style comic.
