Also if you play the game again the training center at garden is a good place, (SPOILER)Or you can train there once you get back, the start of disc 2 isnt to difficult anyway

If I was like Cloud I don't think I would have taken that test.
Changed to stop Jessweeee♪ from going insane. Is that better?

Don't level. Seriously don't. Unless you have Bahamut and +Str/Vit/Mag/Spr on level up from various GF's levelling will see you quickly fall behind monsters in terms of strength. There are a handful of bosses whose levels are always static, but for the majority of monsters their level grows with your own, while their stats grow exponentially. Don't bother with HP bonus on level up, you can easily get to 9999 HP with basic levelling and a junctioned high-end magic such as Full-Life or Curaga.

Don't train in the first disc. When you get to the second disc start training. At the end of the first disc my characters were only about level 11 - 13.
    The below sentence is true.
    The above sentence is false.

Listen to this guy. He speaks the truth. If you do anything, focus on getting higher level magic to junction. It's faster than levelling and infinitely more useful.

You need to equip HP Ups for about 20 levels or you won't be able to reach max HP. Curaga definitely isn't strong enough, and with about 20 levels with HP Up Full-Life will barely boost it enough to reach 9999.

In FF8 junctions are far more important than levels. The game will actually be easier if you gain the fewest levels possible and instead acquire strong magic for junctions.

I always seemed to reach 9999 through normal levelling without HP bonuses. Must've junctioned Ultima. Whatever the case, I would argue that increasing your base stats would be best. There's probably a way to calculate how many bonuses you need to get 255 every time with the best type of junction and all that jazz.

You can buy Tents from a shop and use L Mag-RF to refine them into Curagas; L Mag-RF is one of Siren's abilities. If I'm not mistaken, Wizard Stones also refine into Curagas.

Aside from that, playing Triple Triad is a sure way to get your hands on items that refine into useful magic. You can use Quezacotl's Card Mod ability to refine cards into items and use other GFs' abilities to refine those items into magic.

By the way, Triple Triad should be a piece of cake for you at this point, since you probably have both Ifrit's card and Diablos' card!

    QFT.
Listen to BOTH of these guys. I never grinded or had a mindset to level. Only thing you need is better magic. Draw as much as you can, and you'll be fine.

Junctioning is where it's at, son.

The basic idea is too wait till u have str bonus vit bonus mag bonus spr bonus etc...

after these are equiped then u level up so u can get 255 of the above stats when u add str+60% etc...

without the bonus abilites u can only get ur vit as high as 180 or something....
