I fail to understand why Tidus is "running" during the dream on Besaid Island and right after you've rescued Yuna in Luca.
He's kinda acting as if he was running, but he stands still!

I think it was symbolic of his desire to reach something, but being unable to do it. Hence why it was also in a dream; his goal was unobtainable, which mirrored his frustration and confusion in the waking world.
