Problem is that 6/10 is still too low for III DS, for despite being old the turn based isn't that much of a fun-killer. Aside from that, FF III DS is just classic RPG. You can't go wrong with it if you just want a good RPG experience. It holds everything tha ta RPG should have and a slightly higher difficulty and a story that isn't so deeply explored. Those can't be enough reasons to tear the game to pieces...

What I hate the most with bad review though is that they say "There's a reason that this game was never released outside of Japan before..." Indeed you ****, but that reason was not because the game sucked, but because of technical difficulties and unfortunate circumstances.

I hope you guys are right that they will someday remake them for the big systems (there's nothing wrong with the DS, but apparantly the big systems attract more gamers than handhelds do... So if big consoles will possibly earn FF III a bigegr fanbase, SE can do all they want with that idea). I think I'm gonna vow to myself to buy any version of FF III that will appear in the future.

However, I think that if SE wants to release the first 3 FF games again in the future, the games will need a mayor improvement. Reviewers are already getting more harsh when reviewing an oldschool RPG, can you imagine how they would tear FF I, II and III appart if SE were to release these games 10 years in the future with little more than updated graphics? Nostalgia can't remain a savior forever...

Maybe that would be a reason for SE to not release these games anymore, since it would take too much time or so, time they could just as well put in an entirely new game...

Oh and Nifleheim7, better start playing this game. You're missing out a great entry in the series.
