Actual N/A Final Fantasy Games Numbers
Here in North America, we've only had 3 of the 6 first FF Games.
FFI, FFIV, FFVI were FF1 FF2 FF3.
So, based on that, FFVII isn't actually 7 since we only got 3 games.
So the actual numbers would be:
US - Japan
FF1 - FFI
FF2 - FFIV
FF3 - FFVI
FF4 - FFVII
FF5 - FFVIII
FF6 - FFIX
FF7 - FFX
FF8 - FFXI
FF9 - FFXII
FF10 - FFXIII
They've kept the Japan Numbers to save up the confusion.
Technically it's like that.
Japan got more FFs, saved up time of translation I guess, since back in the day, the writting part was the longest part.
I'm guessing they wanted a world debut for the first one.
So, we would be at number ten, but we all know we've had many FFs after it debuted on the Playstation.

Summary: America didn't get 2, 3, and 5 until much later.
Question: What's your point?

His point is of such high proportions our mortal minds cannot comprehend it.
Therefore this thread shall degrade into spam within the next 2 posts, unless you count this one.
Then it already has.

No haiku for you.
"Ko—ko, ka—shi—ko,"
The frogs begin to shout,
And the evening stars come out.
