I bought the first disc in the seires from my local video store that was shutting down
.......for $2. The reason why i bought it was that a( it was cheap b( i was done by the makers of Ghost in Shell and c( i recon lain (main character) looks really cool!



i watched the episodes and fell in love with it BUT.... it seems its one of those 'unknown wonders' meaning its good, but not many people know about it

so.... Do you know anything about it?

I fell in love with Lain for its passive style and obscurity when I was in high school.

I haven't watched it in years.

Lain is slow paced and very odd. I'm hesitant to call it philosophical but whatever.

I liked Lain. It was dark and the only reason I watched it cause I heard the head writer of Digimon Tamers did it.
