Any suggestions as to what people think have been the best music albums released since the beginning of 2000? Give reasons if you want, include as many as you want etc.
I'm still thinking about mine...

"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Tales Don't Tell Themselves - Funeral For A Friend
its just a very epic collection of songs, telling a story. very catchy and pretty awsome.
All We Know Is Falling - Paramore
an amazing debut from an amazing Pop-Punk band. Hayleys vocals just drive this album to legendary, and thats without the band accompniment
I never really know how to rank albums or even to decide what's best, but I certainly feel that Sufjan Stevens' Illinoise is certainly worthy of being up there.
Not my words Carol, the words of Top Gear magazine.
the Arcade Fire - Funeral
The Used - Lies for the Liars
Anberlin - Cities
Dream Theater - Train of Thought
Megadeth-United Abominations
Static X-(Everything that came out this decade by them)
Strapping Young Lad-Alien
Devin Townsend-Synchestra
Dissection-Reinkaos
Children Of Bodom-Follow The Reaper
WASP-Unholy Terror
Owen made this sig. R.I.P.
Freezepop - Fancy Ultra·Fresh (Pretty much as awesome as music gets)
Freezepop - Future Future Future Perfect (Not as universally great as FU·F but the best songs here are by far some of the best I've ever heard)
Sage Francis - A Healthy Distrust (Hate the political messages, but it's still some of the best rap I've ever heard)
Wintersun - Wintersun (2004)
Epitaph - Necrophagist (2004)
United Abominations - Megadeth (2007)
Dethalbum - Dethklok (2007)
Seediq Bale - ChthoniC (2006)
Antichrist - Akercocke (2007)
The Black Mages - The Black Mages (2003)
The Black Mages II - The Black Mages (2004)
All that comes to mind atm.
Chiodos-"All's Well that Ends Well" and "Bone Palace Ballet"
Thursday- "Full Collapse" and "A City by the Light Divided"
From First to Last- "Dear Diary, My Teen Angst has a Body Count"
Bright Eyes- "Fevers and Mirrors"
Panic! at the Disco- "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out"
The Used- "(self titled)" and "In Love and Death"
My Chemical Romance- "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" (the other two are seriously lackluster in comparison and don't even deserve mentioning.)
Taking Back Sunday- "Tell All Your Friends", "Where You Want to Be" and "Louder Now"
Just to name a few.
I'm going to do this year because I don't feel like trying to remember stuff from the past decade (although anything by Sufjan is up there by default).
So basically,
Alcest - Souvenirs d'un autre monde
That will be all.
Tool: Lateralus & 10,000 Days
Mars Volta: Deloused in the Comatorium & Frances the Mute
Ben Folds: Rockin' the Suburbs
Queens of the Stone Age: Songs for the Deaf
Audioslave: Self-Titled
Coheed & Cambria: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Radiohead: Kid A or Hail to the Thief
The Sounds: Dying to Say This to You
Signature by rubah. I think.
