I like a lot of one hit wonders. I'll probably say my favourite was Chumbawamba - Tubthumping. I can name my most hated, which was Barbie Girl - Aqua.

Tainted love is such a one-hit record that I only recently found out it *wasn't* performed by depeche mode.

also, in a gadda da vita xD

Barbie Girl isn't such a one-hit wonder. Candy man got a lot of air time too.

I agree with Poetically Pathetic on not liking one hit wonders.

But I will say "I'm Blue" is so hard to hate even if you want to.

Same goes for Dr. Jones and that slow song they had which also eventually had a remix version. Can't remember, it was eons ago.

I'm not overly fond of one-hit-wonders, either but I did like The Final Countdown by Europe.

Given that they actually suck terribly and always get booed offstage when supporting another band, would 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster's awesome "Charge The Guns" count them as a one-hit wonder? I guess it's not really a hit... never mind.

There are a few mentioned here that i dont consider one-hit wonders. Song 2 as people have already mentioned, but also Low Rider, Tub Thumping (are you serious Chumbawumba have been going for decades!) and as someone mentioned James Bland, eer sorry Blunt. He has unfortunately released a number of other songs that have been hits over here.

I'm almost ashamed to admit this but i liked Cotton Eye Joe by the Rednex (yes i know they didnae write it and it has probably been recorded numerous times but if those others got included then that can)

I think Chumbawamba are an example of a one-hit wonder. They've been around for ages but Tubthumping was pretty much the only song of theirs that ever threw them into the limelight.

I wish James Blunt was a no-hit wonder

Well in the UK maybe, but not in Canada.
