Shaun of the Dead is as good as Life of Brian? *splutters with disbelief*
Life of Brian is one of the best comedies ever made, it's easily the best of the Monty Python films, and it's even more relevant today than ever before with the points it makes about the idiocies of organised religion.

You can argue it all you like, but simply some people enjoy certain films more than others. Life of Brian certainly made me laugh at points, but not as much as many other films. As for pointing out everything that's wrong about organised religion, no, not really. Dogma does that a thousand times better.
