Holy crap, Empire Strikes Back got knocked out by Return of the Jedi?! A New Hope I might've understood, but Return of the Jedi? I also feel that Shaun of the Dead is somewhat overrated these days. It's a fantastic film, but far from the best British comedy ever. Also, where's Life of Brian? Raiders of the Lost Ark better win this now!

While I definitely agree that Shawshank is better than Shaun of the Dead, I personally find the latter to be better than the Monty Python movies, which if made today wouldn't be as much of a hit. Just a matter of cult classic vs. cult classic, really.
