definitely one of the more annoying characters in FFIX...besides quina, at least for me. trying to get zidane to like her was interesting and entertaining for a while, but it became dry and eiko became one dimensional. in terms of battle, im in the process of leveling everyone up, and she's not completely useless...sort of a mini-Dagger.
