I always saw Quina as female. Perhaps I liked the idea of four female characters along with four male. Perhaps it was the pink. Perhaps I'm just a presumptuous git because of Protect Girls and the marriage to Vivi.

If it's a girl that makes the scene where Zidane teaches it how to piss a whole lot more interesting.

Zidane shared the pissing scene with Vivi, not Quina.

Well wait... the Qu that looked over Vivi (was it Quale? I can't remember ><) was referred to as grandpa and i'm pretty sure he was referred to as "he" so wouldn't that mean they had genders?

I always thought Quina is a girl but there is proof that it is both a guy and a girl so I guess it is both?

i think Quina is a s/he as the game usually puts it, despite what Zidane says. Zidane (or the writers) were probably just being casual about his use of grammar.

i have always been convinced that quina is a girl, since she can equip the female equipment that guys cannot equip.or maybe i just cant imagine quina having a male voice.disturbing...

I think Quina is a girl due to the clothing, the wedding, the Protect Girls, and I believe Quina can equip some girl-only equipment.

On another subject entirely, how do you pronounce s/he anyway?

    You don't.

My understanding was that Quina was asexual.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts. Disagreeing with objective reality and calling it an opinion doesn't make you not wrong.

I agree with this, but I also tend to lean towards the idea they have no gender. Quina strikes me as being very feminine though.

I wondered about this question for a while...
