Thread: Martin Luther King

    Default Martin Luther King

So, I have to do a presentation on communication and have decided to study Martin Luther King's speech "I have a dream". Basically, can anyone tell me where I could go about downloading actual video footage of this speech? I don't mean YouTube, I mean an .avi or .wmv that I can plug into Powerpoint.

    Thanks.

I've not had any luck finding a decent source that wasn't YouTube itself or hosted by YouTube and embedded elsewhere, I'm afraid. I don't suppose the United States has a national archive or something that you could download it from, do they? Good luck with it, I never thought it'd be that difficult to find and sorry I can't help.

Try your local public library. A lot of them have on-line card catalogs by now. If nothing else, you could buy it off amazon: Amazon.com: I have a Dream: DVD

I mean, you'd have to rip it from dvd, but it'd be higher quality at least!

Well if worst comes to worst you can use something like this site vixy.net : Online FLV Converter : Download online videos direct to PC / iPod / PSP. It's free!. I don't really have any experience with FLV converters but there are a lot of hits on google. This is just one of them.

Just one other option to add to your current list.

    Edit!
Finished testing the site. It works pretty well from the test I ran on it[used file I had an AVI[not a high quality one... but not horrible either] to as well as located it on youtube. I had it convert the youtube version and it came out just fine].

STILL Updating the anime list. . . I didn't think I was that much of an anime freak! I don't even want to consider updating the manga list!
