Thread: I need to find this font...

  1. #1

Default I need to find this font...

It is used for text in Scientific American magazine, the track listing for the Now That's What I Call Music! series of CDs, and for the trivia questions on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

The font that I'm looking for is shown in this UK Millionaire screenshot:

What is the name of this font? And where can I get it for use in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint?
    Is that your final answer?

Always google first, why ask a question that people are only going to google to answer for you anyways? If theres no answer ya can find that way, then it's time to call in the experts... and me

Thank you very much, Baloki. The font that I am looking for is called Conduit. Now if only I can get it for use in my Word and PowerPoint...

Get a copy of the font file, then copy it into C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ then just restart word and it'll appear in the font list.

I did a quick google search (imagine that!) for the conduit font and I found several places, but they are all charging for the font. Since this is a relatively new font and it is currently in use by a lot of "popular" game shows and such, it will probably be hard to find it for free.

But if you want to see the sites that are charging for it, google "conduit font".

Well Millionaire has been around since 1998 in the UK (1999 in the US), so I thought it would be much cheaper, if not free, by now...

Also remember that if you are sending the word document to other computers, it won't show up unless they also have it installed.
