I thought it was a decent movie. As an action movie it was fun and exciting, no doubt about that, but on a whole I was somewhat disappointed. It just didn't live up to all of the hype, and after having seen the second one in the series and thinking it was actually quite good, I was expecting to see something more.. or maybe just something else - I'm not really sure what specifically, though.

I guess the main problem was the story. Three villains in one movie was way, way, way too much, and there wasn't enough screen time for all of them to really get into them. The Green Goblin storyline was good, and so was the one about Sandman, but the whole deal with Venom just seemed forced. Don't misunderstand me; I really like the character of Venom and I think he's really interesting, but he just needed to have his own movie, where other villains wouldn't take some of the spotlight. Also, the scenes with Peter Parker being possessed by Venom, and suddenly being this confident and slick guy were unpurposely funny in my opinion.
