well ive never cried because of this game but it did have its touching moments.

celes finding lockes bandana on the bird was a touching moment for me.

also i think locke and rachel have the greatest and saddest love story. i mean think about what legnths he went for her.

(SPOILER)Celes attempted suicide got me the first time

The entire ending scene is so emotional too, especially the one with Celes and Locke.

Setzers one was really nice aswell

I didn't cry when I played it as much as when I translated it. I cried multiple times, for example when the children in Moblitz recognize that Tina/Terra in morphed form is actually their "mom".

the closest was the end of Locke's story in WoR, in Kohlingen or wherever the house is. It was an emotional game, though.

I've never cried because of a game. I find it hard to identify with the characters because they're sprites.

Oh God. This game melted my little preteen heart.

I have a history of being very touched by this game, yes.

Yeah, that's how I feel about it. And add Cyan's dead son rolling out of the bed and onto the floor to the list.

I think if this game had been made in the present day with ultra-realistic graphics, decent voice acting, a better translation, orchestrated soundtrack, etc. it might have gotten to me more, though. The story is there, but I think the limitations of the era put a bit of a damper on it.

As things stand, the only game that made me tear up was Metal Gear Solid 3. :P

I never cry at books, movies or games. This one and Grandia have made me come very close nonetheless.

I've never cried from any computer game, but FFVI certainly has its touching moments. The whole Rachel plotline as well as the whole experience of Celes in the WoR can be quite touching and saddening, but not quite enough to bring me to tears, I'm afraid.

Same here. I didn't cry during VI, but it had a lot of character when them moments came up.

The bit where Celes attempts suicide and the subsequent first sight of all the post-apocalypse towns are things that still give me that sinking feeling even now, but no FF game to date has made me cry.
