I was tempted to put FVII cuz hes my favorite Cid of them all. However the first true Cid (as far as initial NA releases) was the hammer-wielding long bearded Cid of IV. Although not the first Cid to be related to airships, he WAS the first one to pick up a weapon to aid the group (Not to mention the first Cid that most americans ever saw)

im surprised at myself that i dont actually think of a cid when i hear it. I just think final fantasy with the word Cid in my mind. I cant accociate it with a character immediately

I always think of VIIs Cid, but then he is probably the most famous of the lot.

My favourite is Regent Cid in FFIX though.
