I know what a cop does. You attacked me furiously before you investigated me. That's my point.

And what? you're admitting to being the Lyncher? Then that really settles it. You'll be one of the winners of the game if I'm lynched before you die, so then it's really in everyone's best interest to not lynch me today.

I attacked you before I investigated you because that attack, was to hopefully be able to lynch you without revealing that I'm a cop. If I had suspicion before, and had gone along with that the Mafia would have no reason to believe I'm a cop I would be able to investigate at night while safe.

The whole point of not bieng found out as a cop is, so that you can have more safe nights, which are very needed because alot of times cops just investigate citizens. but I think I got a mafia and not citizien, because you slipped up in the beginning, on top of us getting lucky with butterfree.
