How do you picture Nerds? Pimple-faced-nodated-internetloving annoyance? Well think of this… This forum is full of them nerds, and gosh darn it we owe our sanity to them… Which is why I’m dedicating this entire Speech to quotes of these nerds in action…

Quick steps to fixing:
1) Find a Windows machine
2) move around the My Network Icon until you get bored of playing with it
3) Go back to using your own computer?

On a serious note does Mac have the ability to lock an item via any properties dialogues?

You can easily fix it though Right-click the folder, Properties, untick Hidden, then OK

Then you can undo the show hidden files from earlier, unless you like being able to see them like some of us

Ummm... custom builds are actually quite expensive. Buying a pre-fabricated one would be much cheap, but you probably will not get anything high quality for 800$. I've paid 1100 Euro for mine back in September 2006 and it's still only a multimedia notebook.

If you're in for good and cheap hardware, go for Acer. Their casings aren't the best though. If you're in for solid but expensive builds, SONY and Toshiba are a good bet (talking of experience, SONY lives forever and I haven't had any problems with my Toshiba either). I'd be careful with Samsung.

Here's how you can do it:

1. Acquire a copy of Breaker Pro. How you get it is up to you, but know that it can be burnt.

2. Use Swap Magic to boot Breaker Pro if it's not legitimate, or just boot an authentic copy.

3. Then use Breaker Pro to boot your PS1 game.

There are other methods you can use, such as a memory card loader (notoriously unreliable and causes an area of undeletable, corrupt data on your memory card) or, of course, a modchip. I eventually got a mod chip because I got sick of having to swap discs all of the time.
