I'm interested in the roleplay aspect, I don't think I'd be able to handle country building and stuff. I'd swear alleigance to whichever person has the ory that looks like Italia.

If you want to jointly share a country, by all means be my guest. You might want one character to be the ruler and the other to be a general or a diplomat or something though. But players aren't all forced to make their own countries, you can always form a country together and pool your resources.

this is a game where you make your own empire.. you get a starting sum and everything.. actually.. i dont really know how.. but you can be my righthand.. and you wouldnt have to do anything but have fun

Mercenary bands are legal, as are barbarian hordes that invade other countries, rape, pillage, burn, and then leave. Mercenaries and Barbarians will probably come in conflict a lot, since hiring a bunch of mercenaries to take care of the howling savages is more attractive than losing your own troops trying to repel them.
