Mr. Impurity, I tend to agree with you, but I've found as Rebellion leader that when you are outright serious and directly criticize a group, it doesn't go down well, but when you inject humor into otherwise serious comments and include less criticisms, it has better results among the common populace. By directly criticizing the spammers, you now have many people ready to target you and pick battles with you, though if you had brought this up in a lighter manner it might have worked better. Also, naming names naturally invites trouble as well.

Well why is it, then, that many a time the people who are trying to be funny that go way off topic are fine, but as soon as two members have something akin to a conversation in a thread, they're asked by a staff member to take it to PM's? Why is it that as soon as a related topic is brought up for more than one post, it MUST be separated into another topic?
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a little humorous spam, but if this is a place to "have fun and converse" why is it that conversation or related topics are given a greater priority to be labeled as spam and stifled?
