Just got my issue today, and I agree that it looks a lot better in most of those screens. I'm sure people will disagree, of course. Really would like to see it in motion.

Yeah, you're probably right. I have never played "Rival Schools", but I do know that it was a good game. Still, I can't help but feeling a bit ambivalent about this.. I mean, I guess it's time for them to make a Street Fighter game in 3D, but then on the other hand Street Fighter and 2D graphics just go together. Hmm... The Graphics don't leave as much of an impression as I had expected, but oh well. Maybe they'll alter the system to look more unique as time goes on. As for how the mechanics look, it doesn't look like it's going to differ from most 2D Fighters in many ways, sans the fact that it's 3D. I'll have to play the game myself to pass a good, well-thought out opinion, but the impressions I'm getting from the game are less than stellar.
