Anyone Beat Final Fantasy VI With Celes/Edgar/Setzer?

Theoretically, this game can be completed with Celes, Edgar and Setzer. Has anyone here done this before (cheating or not, preferably the latter)? If so, how does this affect the canonicity of the ending, such the characters' ending bits and the conclusion of the ordeal with the Espers, especially when (SPOILER)Terra doesn't die because her human half finds love as a reason to continue existing?

There has GOT to be someone nerdly enough out there to have completed this feat.
