I made the cape and hammer & sickle myself. The belt buckle was made by a friend and I bought the rest.

This is me in a Soul Reaper costume threatening my friend who stole my camera with a ghetto Buster Sword made of cardboard and aluminum foil, fully equipped with chocolate materia (3 Musketeers wrappers).




It was Spirit Week during Halloween, so everyone wore their costumes instead of dressing according to that day's theme (Blast from the Past). Everyone was either like, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU, or OOH COOL SAMURAI, and a sub said, OOH ARE YOU JOAN OF ARC?

You're never too old for halloween. And when your friends decide to all be superheroes for Halloween; you suck it up (or in ) and put on the spandex (or in my case, put on about 10-15 lbs. of muscle over the summer, lose as much fat, and put on the spandex).

I spent $100 on this costume, but that was nothing compared having to shave off my facial hair.

I got mixed reactions and I was the only costume to be booed. Afterwards, people came up to me and said, "What the smurf was that? I was sure you were going to win," to which I replied, "Yeah. Well, what do you expect? It's a controversial costume."

EDIT: Sorry about the blurry picture. I'd like to say I wanted it to look more like the newspaper picture, but the truth is that Andrew took it and apparently didn't know what he was doing.
