Link is all kinds of awsomeness... but both characters are pretty much not deep.. they just make up the deepness for every game.. and its always diff.

but mario was great when i was a little kid with an Nintendo original.. good times running through tubes with my friend.. grabbing coins and such.. and jumping on each others heads

but then again.. we also made wooden swords and fought across haystacks
